"Dance to Happiness" shows the recording of a theater audience from the perspective of the stage. The audience is watching a play written specifically for the amateur theater group of an international corporation, where the viewers themselves are employed. It is pure coincidence that this performance, which tells of the Great Depression in the 1930s, takes place precisely at the beginning of a new, real global economic crisis.
